pregnant again

hi guys

i have just found out that im pregnant again, which i'm delighlted about my child is 9 months old and still bf, he has never taken a bottle can anyone give me any suggestions to getting him of the breast and taking a bottle. My breasts are so tender and sore at the minute that expressing the milk is totally out of the question. When daniel puts the teat of the bottle in his mouth he retches so can anyone please help as i'm a little desperate at this stage???????????????

Are you wanting to wean just bc your preg or bc your sore? I have heard it does not effect preg to nurse while preg. Sorry to say this but I myself would feel guilty to wean bc of having another baby so soon. I feel it is really kind of cheating your baby out of what is best for him. Would it really be so hard to nurse till baby is 12 mos? They are pretty much eating mainly table food by then and don't really need bottles. Is baby eating solids yet? At this age you can start slowly intro solids and small amount of liquids in cup (with your help) and slowly your child can eat more solids and liq from cup so by 12 m baby can be weaned if that is what your goal is.
