We Made It!

Even through all the problems we've encounter, my precious angel has recieved momma's milk for 6mo. now. Through God's grace I was able to get my DD back on the breast after 4mo. of EPing. We have the best BFing relationship now!!
I remember when I was planning her arrival I was thinking and planning on only BF for 6mo. tops!! I had no idea that this relationship would be as rewarding as it has been. I am so excited to say that we've made it this far and I plan on continuing far beyond a year or until my DD self weans. I'm so blessed that I have been allowed to share such a special relationship with my DD.

Feeling accomplished and looking forward to the next 6 months! :D

Good for you! :o) I am glad to hear you are planning to go for another 6 mos! When I had my third child ( first with new hubby) I felt preasured to nurse because both my sister in laws did so I thought I would give it a try and I am so glad I did! Oddly enough when my baby was nearing 1 yr old my inlaws also felt 1 yr was "long enough" so I felt preasured to wean my baby by a yr and I wished I did'nt I felt guilty and sad. So now I am currently nursing my 10 mo old and we will wean when WE are ready! Keep up the good work mommy your the BEST!!! :o)
