If you have a JoAnn's Fabrics near you
I went there this mornng to get material for a sling and they have BEAUTIFUL brocades, silks and sueds 60% off for the next week. I don't know if they are just a Texas chain or what.

Hey, MM. I'm up here in northwest Texas, and visited Joann's yesterday. I got some delicious brown velvet/corduroyish fabric and some nice khaki to make skirts for work. I also perused The Wall where the closeout stuff was and got a yard of cute green and pink striped fabric to make DD something for $1.50. I could spend hours in that store!
