hey
my daughter is 2 months old and i stop breastfeeding her because i was not making enough well now i am in the hosptail because all the formula is not setting right with her. she has the joint desisee and when i feed she did not have problems like she does now. of holding her breath and not gaining weight when i feed in two week off my breast she gained 3 pounds now she is a couple months away from three months and i am wanting to breast feed so i do not have half the problems with her as i am now but i am having problems getting my milk to make enough to get her full and the doctors keep telling me to get fenugreek but i can not find it no where it helps give you want you need to make milk does anyone else know of a pill like that to take and help me.

Dompereidom also helps.  Are you seeing an LC? Even with all of the advise that is given here,it is still important to see an LC(lactation consultant) so that you can go over all possible stratagies. Are you pumping often?

go to "gotbreastpump.com" they have a great fenugreek tablet you can buy.  but i prefer the mamas milk tea to the tablets, but if you aren't a tea drinker the tablet may be better for you.

Hey I saw your message in the group.  You can find the Fenugreek in Vitamin stores.  You can also like the other mom said try the Mothers milk Tea.  You can also try Reglan.  Try pumping for 10min after each feeding.  That will empty your breasts more which in turn will produce more milk.  I have a paper that I can send you on weaning babies from formula.  If you like I can send it to you.  I hope all goes well.  Good luck.
