Butternut Squash

1 medium or  large butternut squash wash, peel cut in half and remove seeds with a spoon,  ... slices them... put the in a  steamer basket with one cup of water in the bottom of a saucepan cover it and place it on a stovetop burner. for 10 to 15 mins the butternut squash  are done when it pierced easily with a fork...or (cook for 15 min in a microwave-safe dish add 2tbsp of water)

 place the butternut squash and the  in a food processor add 1/2 cup of water and puree to a smooth texture (add water as needed).... u could freeze it ....it will last two months... defrosted baby food will last 1 to 2 days in the refrigerator.


note: after 8 months u could add some spices like ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg etc.

Note2: carefully  label and date all foods that stored in the freezer....


 


Note3 u could combine with apples
