I love true crime novels and new author books. Ann Rule is my favorite true crime novelist. I enjoy reading true stories about race and other cultures. I guess because the dynamics that change a person or persons is something any of us can relate to and I find it neat how those dynamics can change a persons perceptions and change them in ways even they did not expect.

Love Cherry Garcia Ice Cream, to have my hair brushed by my husband, and the spur of the moment back or shoulder massages that I don't have to ask for.

I was a single mom until my husband and I met through a mutual friend. We have been together for five years, married to close to two. Jeff and I both grew up military...Air Force. I try to lead a very simple life and want to teach my children to have compassion, consideration, and empathy for everyone they meet. To never pity anyone and to always think or find the positive even in a bad situation. I also want to be their example that no person is perfect and even mommies and daddies make mistakes. Its o.k. to not know the answer to something and that it is o.k. to ask someone if you need help. I feel quality of a friendship is more important than quantity of friendships. My goal in this stage of my life is to go back to school and receive my Assoc. in Language Arts. I want to become ASL certified and be able to use that skill in the medical field.
