I am tring to breastfeed my 31/2 month old son after a bad bout with a yeast infection. I just don't know if it will happen. It has already been a month since I nursed him, now my supply has gone to just drips. I rented a pump about a week ago and got a reglan script the lactation consultant said that I should see a difference in 24hrs but I haven;t. 5 and a half months old and I am trying to transition my son into his crib. I know that starting solids and transitioning might be a lot at once, but he is keeping me up all night trying to nurse. I started with letting him spend more time in his nursery, playing in his crib, then trying naps in his crib. If he ever falls asleep, it's only for like 10-30 minutes. I thought with starting him on solids and a bedtime routine, he would become more predictable and just sleep on his own. I've tried le... Read More
does anyone have any tips on how to get a 6 week old baby to take a nap w/out nursing?
My little man is growing up so fast! He'll be five months old on the 20th. Boy, how time is flying by. His first two teeth are making an appearance and he's sitting with no support for minutes at a time. Everyday he laughs more and more. My heart melts and I wish I could freeze time. Then again, I know there are many more proud moments to come. So I must appreciate everyday with my precious baby, and mold him into a wonderful man.... Read More
