Hey there,
New to breastfeeding, was doing fine until she went back into hopsital. Began to pump but must have pumped to much. 4 days after birth I was so engorged that she couldn't latch on and pump even hurt. I stopped it all putting on ace wraps etc. It has only been 48 hours. Can I resume light pumping to soften and resume breastfeeding her. I was so looking forward to this and did not expect this kind of pain.... Read More

I have a question with regards to breastffeding on planes. I will be traveling for 11 hours with my baby and I don't know if it's ok to breastfeed??? I don't want to get crazy looks from people or comments from the crew.
Should I put him on a bottle? What do you guys suggest?

so just spent the holiday out of state with the inlaws. Which means I spent most of my time in the bedroom feeding my 2 month old dd. Cant figure out why I just couldn't drape a blanket. It was my dh who was hesitant to have me do that. I do not want to make them feel wierd and they are old so whatever but my dh and MIL should be educated and enlightened enough to make it easier for me. I am not bitter with the other family members. Topsy Turvy!
That is how I am feeling today!
I don't know what it is about this week that has fouled up my mood. It's not just today. I feel anxious, unsettled, it is strange. I am really disconnected.
I think it is PMS, along with my ongoing battle with depression.
