I have been suffering for a long time with an umbilical hernia. Ever since the first set of twins. The second set four years later just made matters worse. The doctor said he would try to fix it when he did my cesarian. He didn't. So, exasperated and in much pain I was referred to a surgeon who performed the surgery 3 months post partum. Big mistake. so i have been drinking lots of water and pumping more often to keep my milk supply up but it hasnt done anything and i cant breastfeed at the moment cause of the antibiotic i am taking. I'm still not sure what to do, if i dont do something soon my milk supply will dry up :(
Is there anything more i can do? Please help....... Read More

ok so today is April 4th and since March 25th i was basically put on bed rest from surgery. They gave me antibiotics that my daughter's peditrician said not to breastfeed with so i was pumping and dumping, well ever since then my milk supply is really low, I'm scared it's gonna dry up and my baby and I aren't ready to stop cause first off it's healthy for her and second off it's less of a hassel. Plus i feel like there is a bond when i am feeding her that way instead of with formula. I dont want... Read More



Three day weekend?

My husband had a three day weekend. He kissed me long this morning before he went to work. He misses the quiet times. Me too. I can just barely recall the times that the house was quiet in the middle of the day because all the kids were gone to school. Breastfeeding & my gall bladder surgery

Well, I had my surgery on Tuesday, March 4.  We got to the hospital at 10 and I made sure I nursed Colin until they called me back.  When the nurse came to get me, I kissed my little ones bye and went off with the nurse to get ready for surgery.  I told every nurse who was taking care of me, that my son is breastfeeding and I will breastfeed him as soon as I am able to after surgery.  They all said ok.  I finally met the doctor who would be in charge of knocking me out.&...
