I don't use sunscreen on myself nor my child. We either stay indoors or in the shade during the hottest part of the day. The sun in Tx can be brutal. I'm in the Dallas area.

I try to stay in the shade but every once and a while my boyfriend likes to go to the park during the day so his son can spend a while there. Her burn turns to a tan, but it's still heart breaking when she's burnt. I'm wishing that I can find a good lotion or sunscreen. Any ideas?

I'm sorry I really dont have any ideas. I'm very sensitive to smells and chemicals so i have a hard time even finding lotion I can stand.

Thank you! We're just now starting on solids. She's had rice cereal mixed w/BM. She actually really likes the cereal but i've noticed it constipates her. I've started making my own food and freezing it. She's tried carrots and sweet potatoes...I think the new textures are weird to her. But all in all she's doing great :)

My daughter is starting solid foods too. She loves oatmeal. We tried sweet potatoes and corn today. I think more ended up on me then she ate. But she loved it! So hopefully we can try more new foods soon!

I haven't lived here long, but my baby was born a Texan. The sun keeps burning her even though I put sunscreen on her. Any ideas as to a solution??
