Hi shan, I am sorry that she is giving you such a hard time with this weaning thing. R u truly ready to quit? C i was always ready at a year. Just me. Does she like milk shakes? Soy milk? give her a real cup not sippie? a bowl with a straw? anything just try it and c what works for you? If you want to coninue bfing do it but if theres a problem and ur not ok with it still than u have to change it. Stand your mommy ground! You have the power and can do it! But if you want to continue than you can do that to. I support you with anyting that you are doing! ttyl take care bridget

Try it and u will need support at home from your Family. it is hard to stop sucha wonderful thing but i always found that if you stop it b4 they realize you are more sucessful. Mess me with your progress it is  hard but if you can get thru thoes 1st 3 weeks in the begining with the huring nipples and bleeding if you had it and etc you can get thru this! HI it is hard to wean toddlers but babies just go with the flow. You have to be confident in you. I feel guilty every time i start the either milk or formula (in my allergy baby) I can feel myself saying stop but my supply is down and always does this at a year. SHe guzzled down an 8ouncer last night before bed and slept for 6-7hours woke and i fed her a 6 ouncer and she slept till 6am!! I am so happy. Do you use bottles at all??
