I am a deaticated nursing mother, i have had mastitis three times, cronic pluged ducts and full firm breasts, but i have made it all most 4 months, I want to do it as long as my little one wants..... I need support. I tried everyone and everywhere i feel like this is the last place i can before giving up, and i am not a quitter. I do not like to give up. I cherish the nursing relationship my daughter and i have shared the few times it has worked.

I am so glad to hear that you are finally getting over the mastitis. Oh my goodness. I haven't had a colonoscopy yet, hopefully I won't need one but that's just wishful thinking. I remember those days. I've never had an infection but when my son was first born I was so engorged; it was soooo uncomfortable and painful, so I would pump and it would be relieved immediately. Do you have access to a breastfeeding clinic? The LC's are usually very helpful. There are LC here too if you don't have access to one in person or for free. Aw thank you!!! I feel blessed to have you as a friend too. I'm doing ok. I'm a SAHM but I got to school too. I start classes again on Monday and I'm starting to freak out because I think I'm losing my milk. I planned on nursing my son til he's about 2 but it's been rough. It's not fair people told me oh you'll love breastfeeding because it's so easy and you don't have to worry about sterilizing bottles or anything, but I had to pump for the first 6 weeks after every feeding so I hardly got to sleep at all because I was always sterilizing the bottle and my pump accessories. Plus I have 3 year old too. I hate pumping!!! It looks like it'll be a while before I'm done with my pump though. Oh well I just gotta keep trying. I started using Blessed Thistle so I hope that'll work. Uh-oh I hear my little buddy crying. I gotta go.
