You are very welcome I am glad I was able to help. I also forgot to tell you that when my son was a week old I had ate some take out spaghetti and that night Landin was screaming and upset. I narrowed down the possibilities and realized it was from what I ate. How is your diet?? In the begining I think babies are more sensitive to what you eat and what is passed thru the breastmilk. Do you drink a lot of milk or take in a lot of milk products? My peditrician told me to only take in 2 servings of milk a day. If you take in too much milk they might have an allergy to milk. It is really nice to have other people to talk to who have gone through the same things!!
Thank you for your response. I'm going to pump after each feeding and see what happens. I was just afraid to pump too close to the next feeding out of fear that I wouldn't have enough milk for the next feeding. She's spitting the formula up.. so I can't tell if it's a sensitivity to formula, that she drinks it too quickly or is actually full. I never knew that this would be so confusing! Thank you!! Melissa
If you pump right after you nurse, it will keep you from running into the next feeding. Had she lost more weight from leaving the hospital or from her birth weight? You might trying changing the nipple on the bottle, it maybe flowing to fast for her. I had a tough time nursing my oldest daughter, but it has been easy wtih the last two, so I think that you will do just fine.
