HI my lil one is severly allergic to milk and is on Nutramigen*LIPIL* now till she is two. The formula is so expensive like 100 a week!! She weaned herself off at 11.5 months and likes the change. Any way my pockets are empty and i tried to recieve wic and was told no?? what ever. but i am in seek of any USA based programs that could assist me with the cost of this formula? Any one with info please message me thankyou all you wonderful women
I am finished with bfing! I am ok with it too! My body is just done! I always stop at 12 months so I am currently slowly completly weaning my lil babe! She is allergic to wheat, egg, milk, and nuts so i and her dr decided to put her on nutrigimin what ever its called till she is 2yrs old. Very expensive but worth it for me. she is so crazy at the breast. twisting and pulling, my supply is down to nothing any way. so i am ok with it! I will however still be on her tho! LOL! Keeping it up with my peeps!!LOL!! HOpe to chat with some of you all soon ttyall later! I love this place!!!!!!
I am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Thankful for all of your comments! I tried all the formulas and all a she did was gag! Than i put her down to nurse and she did it! NOw she is non stop nurser! I am so happy. She is severly allergic to milk so she had gotten rashes from all the stinky formula. But i think i scared her. I gave her the nasty milk so she wanted the tasty milk my milk! Thank god for this place because all the motherly advice is so worth it THANK YOU ALL you wonderful bfing mothers!@!!!!!!!!!!!!;)
I just spoke to my daughters doctor and i have to supplement with formula. I tried for weeks to increace my supply but she just weaned herself. I would offer the brest but she would refuse. So now she is on the special kind for milk allergies. I am so sad and feel like a failure. Oh well my body just said enough. this is my third bfed baby. ttyl
This is my third time nursing. I love it...However i do not want to continue with it after 12months though. I just dont want to. I want the freedom. I want my body back etc. Its just how i do it 12 months i stop. My daughter is allergic to milk though i am concerned. I dont want her to become anemic from not getting the iron in my milk so do i supplement with soy milk( i was reading about soy milk and how it doesnt have enough fat for their brains) or formula? She i also allergic to Wheat, eggs and nuts. So i have been avoiding all dairy in my diet for like over 6 months. I too also want a glass of milk ya know LOL! NA i am just done. I have been preagnant and breastfeeding since 2003!!!!!!!! I need me back 5 years is enough! So any advice is great i will take any now. I am a sahm and my hubby works all the time so i can continure to stay home. My day begins like im shot out of a cannon! The two oldes are up and asking for breakfast. My lil babe is crying for hers too. I just finished making my hubbys lunch and coffee to go. I am now the short order ma. Waiting for the next order. Few thats over than begins the neverending snack hounds. than the baby need a nap. ok she s napping than.... i have to take the girls out to play its too nice to stay in so im fillin the pool up at 9am. than then babe wakes from nap. ok so she goes out with us all. than it lunch time oh wait i didnt eat breakfast oh well. so i scarf down a pb&j. than its nap 4 babe and 2nd one. than i sit. and my #1 girl wants to play w me. so i do and read her like 100 books. than its time to make dinner we eat a 4. so i start that. we all eat not me im too bush being a socook. ma i need this bla than bath and bed. finally me time. Na here comes my hubby oh im just sooo tired i just wana be alone. LOL. any other ladies here me?? am i the only one with a nutty day??
I am a mom of three and all were bf and i am now nursing my 9monthold and she bit me ouch and now it is bleeding any suggestions on how to care for it?? I NEVER had this happen ever!!!!! Help!!
Well I am nursing sucessfully for the third time. So i do have and idea of how it goes. Although i am looking for advice on my 8month old. She nurses before bed which is about between 6+7pm then wakes about 11-12 to eat and change diaper and then wakes at 3-4 am to nurse again? My other 2 girls never did this at this age. I am just wondering if any one else is going thru this also? Any one? thanks
Well my 7monthold has food allergies. My allergist and i decided to try making homemade baby foods. It's alil diffrent and she is kinda taking to it so any one have any info or tips to help me. she will NOT eat carrots hmade but loves apples and prunes. Any recipes?? ANyone?? she cannot have pears bananas wheat eggs peanuts or milk ! tU!
