My little man has been a crab butt all day. Finally out of desperation I started playing some of the nursery songs on this site. It worked...blissful silence...he is finally sleeping!!!!!!!
Thanks for everyones prayers and support. My aunt went home to Jesus at 8:50 tonite. She was a very special lady and will be sorely missed. Special prayers for my mom as she is taking this very hard!!!
Thanks for all the support so far! So far she is holding on. She has recieved to shunts in her brain and is scheduled for surgery on Thursday. After that they are going to keep her in a coma for 7 days before they try to wake her. We really appreciate the prayers in this trying time!

I need some prayers. My aunt went into the hospital yesterday with a brain anurism(not sure if I am spelling that right) The doctors did surgery to relieve the pressure yesterday and induced a coma until they can take her into surgery in 3 days. My mom flew down there last night (she lives in GA and we live in ND)but its too expensive for all of us to go down there. So if u believe in prayer please pray for us. We could sure use it.
Ok really. What is it about people that think that babies should be bf in public bathrooms? Gross. Twice now I have gotten that suggestion. I have no problem feeding my 7 month old in public but I usually find a quiet place because otherwise he doesn't eat as well. But a bathroom?? Would a nonnursing mom bottle feed in the bathroom??? All those germs...I wouldn't eat in a bathroom and I certainly am not going to feed my baby in there!!!
And the race begins...my little Dylan (6 months) Started crawling this morning. All of a sudden. I had suspicions that he was starting the last few days but he wouldn't do it in front of me. And what does he go for..... my laptop that I left sitting on the floor. Hmmm....yea I am in trouble!!!
My sister emailed this to me. I thought everyone would like it!!! A woman and a baby were in the doctor's examining room, waiting for the doctor to come in for the baby's first exam. The doctor arrived, a very handsome man indeed, and examined the baby, checked his weight, and being a little concerned, asked if the baby was breast-fed or bottle-fed? 'Breast-fed,' she replied. ' Well, strip down to your waist,' the doctor odered. She did. He pinched her nipples, pressed, kneaded, and rubbed both breasts for a while in a very professional and detailed examination. Motioning to her to get dressed, the doctor said, 'No wonder this baby is underweight. You don't have any milk.' 'I know,' she said, 'I'm his Grandma, but I'm glad I came."
Please help. My son just turnned 5 months old. I do home daycare, so I am with him 24/7. Anytime we go anywhere he turns extremely clingy. He cries if other people tlak to him or hold him. Even his grandparents....even though we spend all day Sunday there every week. Even when people come over he gets all worried. I can't even leave his with his daddy anymore bacause the last few times he has cried the whole time and refused the bottle. Any ideas????
Okay my son is almost 5 months old and I haven't had a lot of problems with BF but I do have some questions I can't find answers too... Is it normal to not feel your milk let down sometimes? Baby seems like he is getting enough when this happens but it makes me nervous. Also he is starting to sleep through the night. Am I going to loosemy mild supply if I donn't pump or feed him at night?Appreciate any comments!!!!!!
