Workout - The Firm Mixed Cardio (I think I botched the name there...)
Weight - 156 lbs

Wow am I sore today.  I'm sure it doesn't help that DS woke up just before the cooldown and stretch started so I haven't stretched properly.  It's a good pain though.  Now I know I've been doing something.

Workout - The Firm Complete Aerobic and Weight Training
Weight - 157 lbs


A great morning!  I love that workout.  It makes me feel great afterwards.  Like I've really done something.  I say this now, but I'm pretty sure while I was working out I couldn't wait to be done.  It's tough for sure.  Going back and forth between lower body, upper body, and cardio.  Then there is an ab section at the end (I HATE doing abs!)

I really think this little project is working.  I already feel my appetite changing.  I no longer crave the sweets like I used to.  I don't really even feel the desire to eat constantly.

DS woke up just as I was getting in the shower.  I went in and talked to him, turned the light on and offered him some books (he refused).  Then I showered.  His bedroom is across the hall from the bathroom so I left both doors open and called to him while I rushed through the shower.  By the time I got out he was OK and then layed in my bed while I got dressed for work.

Hip - 41 in

I got the whole thing in this morning.  Woohoo!  DS woke up just as I was going up to shower.  Luckily DH was home this morning so he got him out of bed and fed him.  If he hadn't have been home, I guess I would have gone in and turned on the light and gave him some books.  He would probably yell the whole time I showered, but I'm pretty quick so hopefully we'll all be OK if that happens. 

I'm feeling pretty good now that I've got a workout in.  Even my munchies are subsiding.  (Another Woohoo!)  I'm considering this day one because of the break over the weekend and Friday, Monday.  I took measurements this morning and will try to do it once a week.  I think this will help me gauge my progress along with the daily weight measurement.

I had intended to take the weekend off. I'm not forcing myself to get up early on the weekend and it just can't be done with DS around.

Today though... what a day.  It started around 2:30 with DS screaming his head off and refusing to go back to sleep.  I don't know if he had a bad dream or what but the kid refused to calm down and sleep.  I thought maybe he just needed his diaper changed but that only made him more upset.

So the whole family was up at 2:30 and consequently, no workout was completed by yours truly.  I'm hoping that we all get a good nights rest tonight and tomorrow I can get back on track.  After the quicky on Friday and the weekend off, this is not a good start.

It didn't go so good on Friday.  DS woke up just as I was getting through the warm up.  The good thing was that DH was off Friday so I put DS in bed with him and was at least able to get my shower in peace.  The rest of the day... not so much with the peace.

Workout: The Firm Cardio Sculpt

Overslept a few minutes but had plenty of time.  DS gave me a hard time going to sleep last night so he wanted to sleep in this morning.  I was able to get the workout done, take a shower, and still have time to putter around the house before I woke him up.

I'm feeling good today.  Start to feel the soreness a little, but it's a good burn.  I think the exercise helped me to not overreact when I dropped DS off at daycare and found out that the daycare center has been bought by another company.  My initial reaction was to get mad and sad and I wanted to start asking questions.  I was able to keep my cool and read the papers and go on my way.  There's an information session this afternoon.

WorkOut - The Firm Maximum Cardio Burn and Ab Sculpt

My new routine, I'm hoping it'll stick, is to get up at 4AM and do a workout.  It's the only time I can fit it in.  I've been getting up at 4AM for almost three years now so it's not that big a change.  The only thing is motivating myself to do the workout! 

So far so good!  I made it the whole hour and didn't even hear DS stir once.  My main concern is that he will wake up in the middle of a workout and I'll have to stop and still need to shower and dress for work.

I actually felt great after the work out.  Someone at work even mentioned that I seemed like I was in a better mood than the day before.  I hope this makes me feel better.  Lately I've felt so blah and just plain uncomfortable in my skin.
