Hi im in pa. and wic said my hubby makes 100 too much. Oh well. I contacted enafimil long ago and they did send me a form to request it thru my insurance thats currently in the works. keep ur fingers X!!  I emailed wic and they told me to contact my local office again. I will go after them if my insurance doesnt go for it. I think they will. Enifimal has a Program for the first year of a childs life called Helping hand for special children you should ask your ped to help you with that. I may help you with the formula. My doctor office got them to send me a free case of it! call them and tell them about it. they just have to contact their enfimil rep and give all the info. The FDA has classified Nutramigen lipil as and "exempt infant formula" that should be used under medical supervision. Call your insurance too they may help you!! Has he been diagnosed by a doctor, stating he deff has a milk allergy? I have been on the phone and emailing my butt off omg im so tired! Helps to be a pita! LOL!!!! well good luck and take care thanks i will keep trying!!

Hi Why did WIC said no to you?If you don't mind me asking. I think i will be dealing with the samething soon sense Tristan seems to be alergic to milk producs as well. Have you tried contacting Ifamil? What i did was call them and asked them to send me a sample of the formula and explained to them that my baby was colicy and fussy and they just took my info and sens the package ups and i signed for it and got two cans from them.Explain to them how costy the producs is and see what else they can do to help i know they will send you some coupons as well. The phone number just incase you don't have it is 1-800 baby123 for Infamil. please try it....it dosen't hurt to try and they might be able to help and send you the two cans at least and some coupons another thing have you asked your DR. if he can write it as a prescription and see if u can get at least a few cans that way if your insurance will take it. Also what state are you at?

My babe is going to b 12 months on sept 6. And yes it was gone some but she weaned herself!
I am in the process of trying to see of my health insurance will cover her formula. Due to the fact that it is medicaly nessary for her to have a balanced diet since she is so food restricted. this will at least give her something to grow with besides my milk which she doesnt want any more.Oh well keeep ur fingers x to hope that my insurance helps me!! Thanks ttyl

How old is your baby? Is your milk supply gone?

I tried to get some help when we had to take DD to Nutramigen when I weaned her at 14 months, and we were also over the limit for WIC. I wish I could be of more help. (((hugs))) about the severe allergies though, I know it is so hard to deal with money wise sometimes.
